Planned Giving Options

“What is a planned gift?”

A planned gift can be a bequest, a designation in a living trust, a charitable trust, a pension plan, an IRA or an insurance policy.

A planned gift is a very special statement that you share our mission and you wish to support the services we provide over the long term. For instance, a bequest to Anixter Center through your will is a tangible expression of your commitment a gesture that might not be financially possible during your working or retirement years.

A planned gift often achieves more estate-and-tax planning objectives for you and your family than an outright gift.

“I’m considering a planned gift.  Can Anixter Center help?”

Of course.  Anixter Center has a variety of resources for estate and charitable planning. We would be happy to review with you options that might best suit your needs. We can help you:

  • Choose the best giving strategy to minimize taxes

  • Decide if a Will bequest is right for you

  • Consider capital gains of appreciated assets

  • Develop a charitable trust benefiting Anixter Center

We ask that you let us know if you have included Anixter Center in your estate plans because it may prompt others to consider making the same choice, and it helps our long-range planning. In order to show our appreciation to donors who include us in their estate plans, we have a special honorary organization.  Of course, all information you share with us is kept in the strictest of confidence.

For further information about how your planned giving needs can be met, we encourage you to contact:
