More than 40 children from ages 5 to 15 participated in Kids Disability Awareness Days at 2032 North Clybourn Avenue and Stuart G. Ferst School on July 15 and August 10, respectively. Brian Pecirno, 5, son of Anixter Center employees Rick and Sandi Pecirno, encountered Harry, a tortoise who resides in the Social and Recreational area of the Community Resources and Support Program. The children participated in an array of entertaining activities with several programs.
