Congratulations CHS!

You only turn 100 once and on August 19, Chicago Hearing Society and friends did it in magnificent style!

It was a spectacular evening, full of memories of the past century as well as exciting plans for the next 100 years.

Although CHS has been celebrating its 100th anniversary throughout the year, that celebration culminated with the August benefit at the Chicago Cultural Center with nearly 200 guests in attendance. The highlight of the night was the program, emceed by Father Joe Mulcrone and featuring long-time CHS supporters who shared their personal stories.

As part of the festivities, guests were asked to make donations to decorate a special 100th anniversary cake. Those donations alone were almost $10,000. In total, the evening raised more than $60,000 to support vital CHS programs and services.

Our thanks to everyone who made this possible—guests, sponsors, donors, underwriters and volunteers. A very special thank you to Platinum sponsors, the Silberman families.

A photo album of the night can be found here. And, remember, there’s still time to donate in honor of CHS’s 100th anniversary. Just click here.
