In today’s educational environment, school districts are mandated to provide the most appropriate educational setting. In many cases, the best setting is a therapeutic day school that provides specialized educational staff, ample therapeutic intervention, emotional support and appropriate staff-to-student ratios. For 30 years, Ferst School has been lauded and respected by many parents as the perfect place to provide what their children need to build skills, achieve academically and thrive emotionally.

"Our goal is to provide a safe and emotionally supported learning environment in which our students are enabled to access education. We want them to successfully live, learn, work and play at school, at home and in their communities now and into their adult years." Diane Kush, Stuart G. Ferst School Principal
