CHICAGO (November 25, 2002) – Anixter Center, a Chicago-area nonprofit agency that assists people with disabilities to live and work successfully in the community, recently teamed with California Pizza Kitchen for a highly successful fund raiser. On Thursday, November 14, the restaurant’s location in the Lincoln Park neighborhood generously donated 100 percent of its income from pizza sales that day to Anixter Center . According to restaurant General Manager Luis Zuniga, $3,276 was generated for Anixter Center.
“We are grateful for the support of California Pizza Kitchen,” Anixter Center Vice President of Development Mary Kozil said. “Not only did they contribute to us financially, but they helped the Lincoln Park community become more aware of who we are and what we do.”
