A Message From Dr. Teresa Garate

Dear Anixter Center Friends, Colleagues and Supporters:

I am happy to announce that I have completed my first year as Anixter's President and CEO and continue to marvel at the wondrous impact we have every day in the lives of so many people. I would like to use this issue of our newsletter to tell you a little bit about what we have been up to ensure that Anixter Center continues to grow and soar all throughout Chicagoland and beyond.

Anixter Center announces the appointment of four new members to our Board of Directors: Julie Faulhaber (Vice President, Enterprise Medicaid for Health Care Service Corporation), Tiffany Miller (Senior Labor Counsel, McDonald's Corporation), Elio Montenegro (CEO, Genesis Healthcare Inc.), Sean Murphy (President/CEO, SP Murphy, Inc.) and Lisa Ouzounian (Director of Government Relations for the Greater Chicago Region, Comcast). The diverse group comes from a variety of private-sector backgrounds and will use their knowledge and networks to help Anixter Center thrive in the coming years.

We also wish to acknowledge our retiring board members Susan Jun and Adam Schaeffer. Thank you both for all of your hard work and dedication to Anixter Center.
