Welcome New Board Members

Anixter Center announces the appointment of four new members to our Board of Directors: Julie Faulhaber (Vice President, Enterprise Medicaid for Health Care Service Corporation), Elio Montenegro (CEO, Genesis Healthcare Inc.), Sean Murphy (President/CEO, SP Murphy, Inc.) and Lisa Ouzounian (Director of Government Relations for the Greater Chicago Region, Comcast). The diverse group comes from a variety of private-sector backgrounds and will use their knowledge and networks to help Anixter Center thrive in the coming years.

 

Julie Faulhaber

Julie Faulhaber

Julie Faulhaber is Vice President, Enterprise Medicaid for Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC), a $52 billion health insurance company with 13.2 million members operating in five states, where she is responsible for the leadership and oversight of HCSC's Enterprise Medicaid Business. This includes expansion of Medicaid programs across HCSC's Blue Cross Blue Shield plans in Illinois, Montana, New Mexico and Texas.

Julie has extensive experience in government programs including Medicare, Medicaid and Special Needs Plans. Julie spent more than 10 years with Medica Health Plans in Minnesota. While there she was responsible for the state public programs, SNP and Dual Eligible product suite including product development, managing the CMS bid process, executing compliance plans and leading government relations. Additional experience also includes Humana and Genesis Healthcare.

Julie has a Bachelor of Arts degree in philosophy and journalism from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. She has a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Julie is board member and Treasurer of National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Minnesota, a board member of Metropolitan Center for Independent living, and Normandale Center for Healing and Wholeness.

She is listed with Stephen Bossert on the NAMI donor list.


 

Tiffany Miller

tiffany-millerTiffany Miller is a senior labor counsel at McDonald's Corporation, where she advises the company on federal, state and local labor laws and compliance. Prior to joining McDonald's Corporation, Tiffany spent several years in private practice. Tiffany received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Southern California and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Cincinnati School of Law, where she was an Urban Morgan Human Rights Fellow.


 

 Elio Montenegro

Elio Montenegro

Elio is CEO at Genesis, a home nursing and home services agency. The agency provides in-home services to older adults, ensuring they live healthy and long-lasting lives in the comfort of their own homes. Genesis employs skilled and non-skilled caregivers including RNs, LPNs and CNAs. The agency contracts with the Veteran's Administration and the Illinois Department of Human Services.

Prior to Genesis, he led HCG, a consultancy specializing in healthcare operations, C-Suite development, management and Hispanic marketing. Present and former clients include the TSA, Town of Cicero, McGraw-Hill, Norwegian American Hospital, Travelers Insurance and several home health and private duty agencies.

Elio serves on the Board of Directors of Association of Illinois Senior Centers, an advocacy association of senior centers providing a range of services to older adults. Formerly, he was on the Board of Directors at Arden Shore Children and Family Services and former Chairman of the Latin American Chamber of Commerce.

Among his varied other experiences, Elio served as Vice President, Community Relations at Advocate Health Care, the largest health care provider in Illinois. He was Vice President of Marketing and Support Services at Norwegian American Hospital. In addition, he served as national spokesperson at Allstate Insurance and TSA.

Elio is a former television reporter and anchor serving as the leading news anchor at Univision Chicago, the nation's most viewed Spanish-language television network. He also was a reporter at the Tribute Company's CLTV, a 24-hour television news channel. Early in his career, he also served the Governor of the State of Illinois as a Special Assistant for Hispanic Affairs.

He has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is a native of Cuba and lives in Wilmette, IL, with his wife and three children.


 

Sean Murphy

Responsible for all contracts to support the Aviation system in Chicago (O'Hare, Meigs Field, Midway). Part of Management Team responsible for completion of renovations to the new Midway Airport. Responsible for negotiating a $1 billion agreement between the City of Chicago and Bechtel for a new terminal at O'Hare.

Lisa Ouzounian

Lisa Ouzounian

Lisa Ouzounian is the Director of Government Relations for the Greater Chicago Region of the Central Division of Comcast. She is responsible for, among other things, franchise negotiations, contract administration, regulatory compliance, government relations, and community relations in the City of Chicago, South Suburban Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Ms. Ouzounian is a Board Member for the Cable Television and Communications Association of Illinois and an Advisory Board Member for Centro Romero.
