Anixter Center Names Rebecca Clark President & CEO

Chicago, Ill. (Dec. 27, 2017) — Rebecca Clark has been tapped to be the next CEO & President of Anixter Center. Nearly 100 years old, Anixter Center is an experienced leader in serving people of all ages with disabilities. Clark first joined the venerable nonprofit in 2015 as the Vice President of Program Development, Innovation and Accountability.

“Rebecca’s tireless drive for quality and her strategic vision make her the perfect choice to lead Anixter Center into the next 100 years of serving others,” said Eric T. Gastevich, Chair, Anixter Center Board of Directors. “Rebecca has been involved in every aspect of the organization, from finance to programs, and has the experience to ensure Anixter Center’s continued success.”

During her time at Anixter Center, Clark has been particularly focused on preparing the organization for the future with an emphasis on financial stability, program excellence and accountability. As the organization streamlines its operations to ensure efficiency, Clark's strategic and analytical leadership have made sure that Anixter Center is well-positioned to celebrate its first 100 years of helping others in 2019 and begin its next century of service.

Early in her career, Clark served for more than 10 years as the Director of School Support for Chicago Public Schools. During that time she directed a team of 45 staff to provide services to CPS students. More recently she was the Partner Success Engineer for TeachMatch, a startup in Chicago. While there she consulted with K-12 school districts across the country to increase efficiency and quality in hiring practices. Clark has a Master of Arts in Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Science from Northwestern University.
