QIDP Training

The Department of Human Services has mandated this 40-hour Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) training as a requirement for all Qs. Anixter Center's course meets the DHS standards of instruction. Anyone is welcome to participate, however certain criteria need to be met in order to become a QIDP. Please contact DHS prior to registering to ensure training participant meets qualifications.

  • Planning, Record Keeping
  • Community Resources
  • Health and Safety
  • Medical Issues
  • Rules and Regulations

The next course is scheduled to meet every Tuesday, 9am-1:30pm, beginning February 3, 2015 and the final class will meet on March 31, 2015. Classes will be held at 2032 N Clybourn Ave in Chicago (click here for map/directions).
